Bottom-of-the-table Dakkada FC stunned third-placed Doma United in Saturday’s league clash at the Nest of Champions in Uyo.

They sealed a slim 1-0 victory to end a run of four games without a win.

The winning goal came in the second half as Dakkada’s pressure eventually paid off.

Champion scored the decisive goal in the 59th minute to earn his side a vital win.

This makes it Doma United’s first defeat in four outings.

As things stand, Doma have 19 points from 13 games played, one point ahead of fourth-placed Niger Tornadoes and fifth-placed Abia Warriors who are going to be in action on Sunday.
