DAKKADA VS SUNSHINE STARS: DAKKADA THROW STADIUM GATES OPEN TO FANS

Ahead of our matchday eight Group B fixture of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) against Sunshine Stars, we are delighted to inform our loving supporters that NO gate fees shall be taken and the match is thus declared free to fans.

The match which will be played at Nest of Champions, Uyo, tomorrow, Wednesday, February 15, will kick off at four o’clock in the afternoon.

The decision is our conscious attempt to ameliorate some of the harsh economic realities that our supporters nay Nigerians are facing by virtue of the cash crunch due to Naira redesign. It would therefore be inconsiderate and insensitive of us to demand any form of payment from our supporters in this perilous time.

In light of the aforementioned, we appeal to our esteemed supporters, whose genuine and unwavering love has made us tick all these years, to once again kindly lend us their shoulders to lean on by turning up in large numbers to cheer us on to victory.

We would like to take advantage of this opportune platform to apologize for the string of poor results that we have recently recorded which has unfortunately left us in a precarious position with regard to the NPFL standings but we do hereby pledge to turn our fortunes around with effect from tomorrow.
